Privacy and data controls

Your records never leave your Apple ID.

Where your data lives

TapTraq has no accounts and no server database. The substances, protocols, preparation math, schedules, dose confirmations, Undo events, stock, shipments, and weight readings you enter are stored on your iPhone and mirrored to the private database of your own iCloud account so your other devices can see them. The operator cannot read that database.

What this website stores

Nothing about you. This site serves the public pages and the file Apple uses to open tag links in the app. Requests are logged only as anonymous status and timing counters.

NFC tags and QR codes

A tag holds a link with a random id in its fragment. Browsers do not send fragments to servers, and the id is only meaningful to the iPhone that created it. Revoking a tag in the app makes the id inert. No dose data is written to the tag.

Export and deletion

Settings in the app exports everything as JSON and CSV, and Fresh Start deletes every record from your iPhone and your iCloud. Both work without contacting the operator.

Not medical advice

TapTraq records the schedule you create. It does not prescribe, recommend, or verify any dose.
